My first reaction is of excitement because I find Marcel Duchamp's "Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2" to be some of my favorite Modernist (Cubist) artwork. It was rejected by the Cubist art community, wasn't it? Well, no matter.
And what a wonderfully playful poem to match a playful piece of art. The rhyming of the poem works well with the motion of the art. A very visual poem, the last line "collects her motions into shape" creates a scene in my head of exactly that moment in time if this poem were to be put into motion.
